Volleyball tryouts moved to LaPorte High School Aug. 3rd

Attention all high school boys and girls interested in playing volleyball this fall.  Tryouts will be held at LaPorte High School’s main gym on Monday August 3rd. Bill Hannon inducted into Army Sports Hall of Fame

Westville alum Bill Hannon has be inducted into the Army Sports Hall of Fame.  Bill was a standout basketball player in high school which drew the attention of West Point. He was a two-time team captain for the Army Black Knights. Westville baseball drops sectional game

Westville Baseball lost to Washington Twsp., 7 – 1 in their sectional game at Washington Twsp.  Westville took an early lead, scoring one run in the first inning, when Alex Quinn singled and later scored on Trent Hisick’s single. Hebron 10 – Westville 0

Westville baseball traveled to Hebron for game two of the PCC Tourny.  Westville played hard, however they were unable to deal with the the strong pitching performance of the Hebron pitcher.  Westville will play Saturday, May 30 at Washington Twsp in sectional play.

LaVille 14 – Westville 4

Westville baseball lost to LaVille, 14 – 4.  Laville had a 3 – 0 lead through four innings, when Westville battled back to take the lead 4 – 3 in the top of the fifth inning.  LaVille quickly regained the lead back in the bottom half of the fifth and then continued pounding the ball

Westville beats Kouts in game 1 of PCC Tourny

Westville baseball traveled to Kouts for game one of the PCC tournament and came away a winner, beating Kouts 10 – 2.  Westville plated 4 runs in the third inning, 1 in the fifth and 5 in the seventh.  Offensively, Westville was led by Alex Quinn, Riley Cuma & Trent Hisick, each having multiple hits
