Boys Varsity Basketball · Boys Basketball Drops 2 At LaPorte County Holiday Tournament

The boys basketball team fell to 3-3 on the season with losses to New Prairie and South Bend Clay in the LaPorte County Holiday Tournament early this week.

In the 80-38 loss to New Prairie on Monday Alec Hannon and Julian Ellis were the only players in double figures. Hannon had 10 points while Ellis led the team with 11. Mark Bohle had 6 points off the bench, Gavin Hannon had 5 points and 8 assists, Andrew Kreighbaum had 4 points and Andrew Huske added 2. Kenny Pepper had a team high 7 rebounds.

Wednesday the Blackhawks faired no better, losing to South Bend Clay 70-44. Julian Ellis was the lone Blackhawk in double figures with 16 points. Alec Hannon had 7 points, Gavin Hannon had 5 points. Kaden Pepper, Andrew Kreighabum and Andrew Huske had 4 points. Mark Bohle had 2 points and Kenny Pepper and Trevor Henckel each added 1. Kenny Pepper had a game high 10 rebounds, while Alec Hannon had 6 and Ellis, Kreighbaum and Kaden Pepper had 5 apiece.

They boys open the 2021 portion of their schedule with a trip to Portage Christian on January 7th.
