The Lady Blackhawks visited River Forest last night and came away with an 80-31 victory. Westville fell behind 8-2 to begin the game, but then ripped off 33-3 run that spanned more than 8 minutes. Grace Weston led the charge with a game high 22 points and 4 assists. Nicole Albers had 14 points and 8 assists. Sarah Weston rounded out the double digit scorers with 13 points and added 5 assists. Ashley Hannon controlled the boards all night with 9 rebounds to go along with her 8 points. Every Blackhawk who played joined in the scoring fun. Tina Horton and Peyton Rodgers each had 7, Kayley Bowley had 5 and Chloe Fortune rounded out the scoring with 4.

The JV fell 30-27 in a hotly contested opener. Faith Baltzell had a game high 14 points.

The Varsity Blackhawks are back in action tonight at West Central with a 4:00 tip. The girls JV will return to action on Thursday in the first game of a boy/girl double header at LaCrosse. Tip is at 5:30.
